Until quite recently, I did not have much of a clue as to the 4Ws (why, what, where, when) concerning RSS Feeds and Podcasts.  Like many of you, I had seen the RSS icons  on websites and had also heard talk of podcasts - I would often hear radio host Eddie Mair on R4s "PM" saying "You can download our latest Podcast..." But what does it all mean?

Deciding that I could no longer live in ignorance, I searched the internet in the hope that someone would be able to explain - in simple terms - what this was all about.  Though a relatively straightforward task, nevertheless, I still had to trawl through a good number of pages before I finally "got it".
